Wow. Staying on an overnight in Madrid on a road trip from Bilbao to Alicante. Stayed in an IBIS Budget hotel on the outskirts of Madrid. What an absolutely unexpected surprise this restaurant is. The absolute best steak I have ever had.

La Parrilla del Sur in Madrid is always a safe choice for a family lunch, special occasions or even some drinks with friends. The service is well trained, and the restaurant is in a privileged very luminous and welcoming space. We were very surprised by the torreznos—they're crispy and delicious. Seafood options are fresh and tasty, while the meat is outstandingly well grilled. All in all, a great place to taste a combination of different kinds of Spanish food and a must go place in Vallecas.

You don’t expect so good restaurants next to the supermarkets. Delicious food, first class service and excellent atmosphere. Highly recommend.
